Less is more

In fashion "less is more" is a rule to follow if you want to be stylish, but these days I figure it out: in home design less is more also.

I always dreamed of perfectly matched courtines and lots of ambiental elements to create the theme of the house. At present I`m involved in redecorating a 2 room apartment in Bucharest and I realise that you can achieve a pleasant and relaxing place to live only by cleanliness, space, and brightness.

The minimalism was probably inspired by the flat: it`s position, space, and access to light, so I don`t think that all the houses would benefit from the minimalist trend, it depends on the flat`s destination.

Screen flat TV put directly on the wall; clear lines sofa and mono color items combined in no more then 2-3 colors per room can get you started in minimalist design. Example from InCasa.ro
